What size English breech do I need?

I am just starting to ride English. I know that the best way to buy them is to go to a store and try them on, but I’m from Wyoming, and there aren’t very many tack stores that have English apparel. I wear a size 6 (or 7/8 in my Wranglers), and I am about 5′ 7″. Also, what are some good brands? Thanks!!!
I measured my waist, and around the bone, I’m about 36″, and up higher, around my belly button, I’m about 33″.
Another question. Would I need long or regular, in whatever size?

It depends on the brand. Just like normal pants, different riding companies make their breeches according to different specifications. When you find a pair of breeches you like online, you’ll have to look at the size chart provided for a better idea.

The brand of breeches doesn’t really matter too much (to me, at least). Tailored Sportsmen are a good, high-quality brand but tend to be expensive. Tuffrider or Devon-Aire are more affordable choices.
